How I Fell in Love with Jubutang Moxa Sticks: A Six-Year Journey of Wellness and Discovery

A Car Garage Full of Moxa — And a Heart Full of Gratitude

The sun was shining, so my husband and I decided to spend the morning cleaning out the garage. After a few hours of sorting boxes, he sat down, wiped the sweat from his forehead, and sighed,
“This garage is basically full of your moxa sticks now!”

I couldn’t help but smile proudly.
“Exactly! They’re my treasures. And don’t forget, you’ve benefited from them too. Plus, the new electric moxa chair is arriving soon — free trials during the soft launch!”
He just laughed and shook his head,
“You really are a true fan of Jubutang moxa.”

Am I a Superfan?

I’ve never followed celebrities, never been part of any fandom. But now that he said it, I realized — I’ve been following Jubutang’s QQ groups, moxa study groups, and daily wellness communities for almost six years. If that doesn’t qualify me as a loyal follower, what does?

I’ve never stuck with a brand this long — buying a product, staying connected, learning alongside the community, growing in both knowledge and experience. Even the friend who first invited me into the group and gave me a few sticks to try is amazed by how long I’ve kept going.

What Made Me Stay?

One word: persistence.

I stuck with moxibustion. I kept learning. And along the way, I’ve gained so much.

Before discovering Jubutang, I used to buy moxa sticks from pharmacies — the “safe” choice, I thought. But those sticks were coarse, filled with stems and debris. The smoke was overwhelming — burning my eyes, filling the room like a smokehouse. Summer wasn’t too bad since I could open windows, but in winter, I had to close everything — and I’d end up coughing in a room full of thick smoke.

With that kind of experience, it was impossible to stay consistent.

The First Time I Tried Jubutang

One day, a close friend recommended Jubutang. Her classmate had recommended it to her because of chronic neck discomfort. That classmate used Jubutang daily — her home always filled with the scent of moxa.

Since it was a trusted referral, I agreed to take a look — just a look. But the moment my friend handed me a stick, I could tell it was different.
Fine texture, soft yet compact, with visible moxa fiber strands. When I held it up to my nose, the aroma was gentle, pure, and calming. I didn’t want to put it down.

She told me to take a few home and try. So I did. They lit easily and stayed lit well inside a moxa box. That was in 2010 — the 10:1 sticks were about 56 yuan a box. I placed an order right away, along with a six-unit waist belt and wooden box. That was the start of something unstoppable.

Since then, I’ve collected all kinds of moxa tools, different-year batches, and shared many with friends and family. Eventually, I even bought a camphor wood moxa bed. My sister got a beechwood one for my mom. When I visit, I light one for her, and she lies back, talks to me until she drifts off — comforted and soothed.

It’s More Than the Product — It’s the People Behind It

Jubutang’s moxa sticks are amazing. But what’s even more compelling is the spirit behind the brand.

Her WeChat articles, her livestreams — they’re so real, so heartfelt, but also thoughtful and creative. She doesn’t try to preach. She simply shares her story. Yet somehow, her voice resonates.

Through her, we travel across China, across continents. We watch her juggle parenting, international life, and entrepreneurship — all while keeping her love for good food and fun intact. That’s what makes it real. That’s what makes us want to keep watching, keep learning.

She transformed herself — from someone weak and unwell into a strong, elegant, capable woman. That journey was painful, but it built her into someone truly magnetic. Someone we trust — because she’s lived through it all.

Still Curious, Still Inspired

Now, every time I see a new moxa tool or gadget in her videos, my curiosity is sparked all over again. She taps and fiddles with her latest creation, talks gently to the camera, and I find myself calmer, more grounded just watching her.

Her grace, her quiet strength — it’s contagious.
And that’s the heart of Jubutang: steadfastness born of healing, persistence polished into power.

Just like a well-aged moxa stick — soft on the outside, fire at the core.
